These are some of the questions I had intended to discuss on this web page..
Lately I have been disillusioned by the unreliability and unpredictability of magick and the occult. And so I have taken most of my old occult web pages down, at least for a while. (They forward to this web page.) The magick course which I wrote and supported for many years is offline for the same reason.
However, one of the main problems is that they do not seem to be 100 per cent reliable or repeatable. That means they are not dependable. It also means that what one perceives as a psychic vision might be wrong.
Case studies suggest the best psychics are 77 to 85 per cent accurate. However, sometimes there are complete misses. These figures also seem to apply to magick (and active or PK psychic phenomena). And so at best, we have a novelty which might work, and might not, with no way to be certain about it. The bottom line is it is impossible to know how accurate or inaccurate a psychic impression is. Also the likelihood of magical results can not be relied upon.
Ideally, there should be a way to boost these figures toward 100 per cent. However, at this time I don't know how that would be done.
I have gone into a sort of magical retirement while I do research and look for answers.
